Pytios is located 25.5 Km north of the town. It is one of the most important villages of Northern Chios possessing a medieval character.
There, above a cliff rises an uneven but imposing two story tower, surrounded by ruins of a perimeter wall. The domes and the arches of the old houses are architecturally the same with those of the southern Medieval villages. |
