Comments: Goed gelegen hotel op wandelafstand van Chios-stad, waar in de haven echt wel wat leuke taverna's met vers gegrilde octopus te vinden zijn.
Keienstrand tegenover hotel is lekker rustig - in tegenstelling tot zandstranden in drukkere toeristenzones.
Chios is trouwens een van de mooiste Griekse eilanden.

Comments: Prima hotel ligt aan een drukke weg vlak bij het vliegveld en er naast is er een bedrijfje met een hond die heel veel blaft.
Niet een rustige omgeving.
Personeel is vriendelijk ontbijt is uitgebreid en prima.
Chiosstad is niet echt gezellig Aanrader is een auto te huren om naar Karfas tegaan.
Leuk dorpje lekker strand en gezellige restaurantjes.
Zeker de moeite waard is het dorpje Pyrgi.
Chios voor mij niet een tweede keer.

Comments: The Grecian Castle had a wonderful traditional feel. Our room was in the front overlooking the sea and the swimming pool, which afforded fabulous views of the sunrise. The rooms are furnished in a traditional style, which adds to the ambiance at this restored pasta factory. This was a good base for visiting the mastich villages (a must on any Chios tour). Parking was easier than being directly in town, though the main harbour was less than a mile away.

The food at the hotel was okay - not great - but the service was terrific. Upon learning of my mother's birthday, the manager send over an entire apple cake which we shared with the other guests. It made for a warm experience.

Comments: Spent 4 days in the Grecian castle bad points first ,no hot water for some of the time and they had a habit of putting music on at 10 am which stayed on until the early hours of the following morning and also there was no evidence of air conditioning in our room. The Hotel is situated on a busy road and surrounded by rather tatty buildings apart from that the staff were friendly and the service was good and the food was of a good quality.
