Wij zijn hier in Juni 2006 geweest.
We hadden een goede kamer met uitzicht op zee,tuin,zwembad.
Verder vonden we het ontbijt heel goed en er was genoeg keus.
Maar s'avonds hebben we in diverse restaurantjes gegeten waar onder Pinaleon.Waar het heel goed eten is en de bediening erg vriendelijk!!
Onze indruk van Karfas is dat de mensen erg gemoedelijk zijn.Kortom een erg leuk plaatsje als je niet van massa tourisme houdt.

Comments: Wij waren in juni 2006 in dit Hotel,mooie lokatie,mooie kamer,wij hadden geen zicht op de zee,maar op de kindertuin. Aardig personeel,goed ontbijt,een avondbuffet viel tegen.
Een traditionele bruiloft was leuk,
maar 2 in een weekend is wel erg veel.
Een rustig, ruim strand,mocht wat opgeruimder zijn.Een fijne rustige plek om een aantal dagen te vertoeven.

Comments: Net terug van 2 weken Samos/Chios, we hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad mede door ons verblijf in hotel Golden Sand, dat was geweldig, erg aardig personeel en prima ontbijt. Mochten wij nog eens teruggaan naar Chios, dan toch zeker naar hotel Golden Sand.

Comments: Eind augustus voor de 4 de maal naar ons stekje...Golden Sand en steeds dezelfde kamer (213)
Heerlijk om iedereen terug te zien en om van deze pure vriendschap te mogen genieten.
Wij vinden die bruiloften leuk om mee te maken,alsook de tradities die er mee gepaard gaan en hebben er absoluut geen hinder van! Hier duren die tot 6 h in de ochtend en daar is het rond 2-2.30h afgelopen.
Golden Sand,centraal gelegen om al je uitstappen te ondernemen en toch rustig,direct aan het zandstrand.

Comments: The Golden Sands Hotel is a one of a kind hotel. It's located directly on the water. The staff is experienced and qualified. The service is fantastic. The rooms are immaculate. The furniture and decorations are such that make you feel right at home. The food is delicious. The Golden Sands' chefs really know how to cook Greek food! My kids had an amazing time. From the game rooms to the pool, and the canoes and row boats to the lounge area...they couldn't get enough of it. They can't wait to return...and there's no doubt that we will not...and next time, I'll bring all my family and friends!

Comments: If you have a busy life, the Golden Sand Hotel is definitely a good way to get away from it all. Located at a cool bay with shallow waters it's only a 1O minute drive from Chios airport so you can hit the beach pronto! We took a junior suite which had a huge terrase facing the sea. The room was big, spacious and clean and the overall reception was excellent. We stayed for two weeks and dined every night at the hotel for the simple reason that the food was excellent. Add to that the relaxed, yet professional service by the whole staff and you get excellent value for money. Okay, the decoration may be 70-ties and some roomdetails could be a little bit better but who cares? You spend 90% of the day outside!
The Golden Sand is an excellent hotel for people with kids but also peace&quiet-seekers get what they want: rest, relaxation, great food & drinks and a no-worries stay! It has a big enough swimming pool, beautifull garden, amazing views on the Aegeian sea and -ofcourse- the fabulous Greek climate.
We'll be back!
